My name is Eric Lewellen.

I started EDVANTAGE in the fall of 2023 with the goal of helping schools adopt and utilize the Veracross student information system. I spent six years at Veracross working in a variety of roles across the client and professional services teams and have directly supported and implemented over 50 schools.

This experience, coupled with a passion for working with educators, gives me unique insight into the software and the most efficient ways to leverage it. Whether you are just getting started with your Veracross implementation, have turnover at your school and need to get a new staff member up to speed, or want ongoing support for certain modules, I would love to partner and provide an experienced, steady hand to guide your team(s).

I live in the greater Boston Area. When I'm not working, I enjoy cooking, pickleball, disc golf, and playing card games with my two daughters.

Few implementations are as challenging for a school as the migration from one school information system (SIS) to another. It's a high-visibility, high-risk proposition with little margin for error. Bottom line: "It just has to work." Our school had no choice but to switch, as our previous vendor was sunsetting our platform, and there was a great deal of anxiety within the walls of our school. Then we met Eric and stopped worrying. He understood our situation, took great pains to dig beneath the surface of what we said to actually understand what we meant, and was extremely responsive to our situation.
